Two products, one platform

Yes - two independent products on one account and one invoice. Platform is a monthly per-seat subscription; Sandboxes are pay-as-you-go, metered per second. You can use either or both, and one never requires the other.

No. Starter (Platform) is free forever, and Sandboxes give you a €5 credit on email verification - no card. You only add a card to upgrade Platform to Pro, or to unlock all sandbox sizes and metered pay-as-you-go.

Per second, on actual usage - real on-CPU time and working-set RAM, not the provisioned size. An idle sandbox accrues almost nothing. The first 10 GB of held storage (snapshots + templates) is free, and you can set a monthly spend cap.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually in Euros, via Mollie (an EU payment provider). Annual plans save 17%. Switches between plans are prorated automatically.

We will not charge overage fees without notice. On Pro, projects beyond the 5 included are €4/project/month, and bandwidth and build-minute overages are metered per unit - all billed monthly. On Free, limits are hard caps that prompt you to upgrade. You can set a monthly cap if you want a hard stop.

On Starter, your apps stop serving until the allowance resets on the 1st - visitors see a short "temporarily unavailable" page. Nothing is deleted, and everything comes back by itself at the reset (or immediately if you upgrade). We email you at 80% so it is never a surprise. On Pro your apps are never paused: traffic past the included 1 TB is metered at EUR 0.10/GB.

Only the time spent building your image - not cloning, deploying or health checks, which are on us. We measure wall clock, so a Pro build is cheaper twice over: it gets 2,000 minutes instead of 300, and it runs on a bigger build machine, so the same project takes fewer of them. Builds that fail because of our infrastructure, or that a newer push replaces before they start building, are not counted; once a build machine is working on your code it counts, even if you supersede it. Serverless function builds draw on the same monthly allowance.

New builds pause until your allowance resets on the 1st of the month - your deployed apps keep running and serving traffic, and nothing is taken down. You will get an email at 80% so it is never a surprise. On Pro you are never blocked: minutes past the included 2,000 are simply metered.

Yes - published, not gated, and self-serve on Free and Pro. If you process personal data of your end users on orkestr you need a DPA under GDPR Article 28; you are the controller, we are the processor. Need a counter-signed PDF for procurement? Always in the EU. Compute, databases, and sandboxes run in data centers in Germany (Nuremberg, Falkenstein) and Finland (Helsinki). We do not transfer your data outside the EU.

Yes. Cancel Platform from the billing page at any time - you keep access through the end of the paid period. Sandboxes are pay-as-you-go, so there is nothing to cancel; you are only billed for what you use.
